We have all done it at some point. If you are one of the few that hasn’t done it, don’t worry your turn is coming.
You come home from a long day at work and realize that you don’t have your house keys with you. Or you’ve been away on vacation to find out that the house sitter accidently locked the bottom lock on the door that you don’t have a key for. Whatever the circumstance is, you need help.
First, check all the other doors and windows. We have opened many front doors for people only to find that the back door was unlocked the whole time.
Second, if you rent, call your landlord. Chances are they have an extra key. Most landlords will keep a copy of the key in case of an emergency. This may be the quickest and cheapest way to get into your home.
If our first two suggestions are not options for you, try to remember anyone that you may have given an extra key to. A neighbor? A close friend? A family member? You may be surprised who you have given keys to over the years.
If all else fails, give us a call. We have 24-hour emergency service so our professional locksmiths are able to help you out no matter what time it is. You can trust our experts to get you back in quickly and safely.
